Everybody loves to be included in future plans. Specifically people in long term committed relationships.
Including someone in your plan communicates a sense of loyalty and devotion that reassures.
It just says “Yes, I am committed to this person”

Did you know that you could travel to the UK with your loved one when you apply for a study visa?
In the spirit of Valentine’s day and all things lovely, we hope this serves as a reminder that you can study abroad in the UK with your dependents.
If you have a spouse or a family, this person or members of your family are allowed to join you in the UK under the dependent visa clause whilst you study.
How can this happen?
A PBS dependent visa permits your spouse or family member to join you as travel for your studies or at a later date.
What this means is that, you can either decide to apply for a study visa at the same time that your loved one applies for the dependent visa so you can travel together
or
you can apply for a study visa, travel and begin your studies and your dependent arrives at a later date.
Who are my dependents?
According to UKVI, student visa holders have dependents classified under the following:
- A husband
- A wife
- A civil partner
- An unmarried partner who has been in a relationship with you similar to marriage for at least two years
- A child (Usually under 18 years of age)
What program allows me bring a loved one to the UK?
You can usually bring your loved one (dependent) to join you in the following circumstances;
- If your course is a postgraduate course of at least 9months long
- If you are studying below postgraduate level but you have received official financial sponsorship from a government. Your course must be at least 6 months long.
